Fattoria Public Market & Food Hub
A New AGRICULTURE & Culinary Destination Coming to South Santa Clara County
Set to open in Fall 2027, Fattoria Public Market & Food Hub is an upcoming indoor-outdoor marketplace located in San Martin, just south of Morgan Hill. Inspired by European-style public markets, Fattoria will showcase a wide range of local offerings—from fresh produce and artisanal foods to plants, crafts, and more—all under one roof.
At over 40,000 square feet, the space is being designed to support local farmers, ranchers, fishers, and makers through year-round direct-to-consumer sales. Fattoria’s mission includes preserving the agricultural heritage of the region while providing a space that celebrates local food systems and community connection. The “hub” intends to empower small- and mid-sized producers, offering hands-on educational programs on sustainable farming, agrivoltaics, and food system connection.
Features announced on the official website include:
A climate-controlled public market with permanent and seasonal vendor stalls
A greenhouse dining venue
Outdoor areas for events, workshops, and seasonal experiences
A curated selection of regional food and craft vendors
A farm-based setting designed to offer both retail and educational opportunities
Fattoria Public Market is rooted in agritourism, offering visitors the chance to engage directly with the region’s agricultural heritage. Plans include on-site workshops, educational barns, and farm-based learning experiences that connect guests of all ages to sustainable farming practices, food systems, and the people who grow and make their food. It’s a hands-on destination designed to inspire curiosity, connection, and appreciation for the land.
With its location at Tennant Avenue and Highway 101, along the border of Morgan Hill proper and a high volume corridor, Fattoria aims to become a regional destination by offering a unique and connected place to shop, taste, and explore the heart of South Santa Clara County.
