Kicking off the partnership was a Welcome Event on January 26th, 2023 co-hosted by the City of Morgan Hill, Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center, Visit Morgan Hill, and the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce.
The event took place at the Morgan Hill Community & Cultural Center with a program that included a welcome reception, kick-off speeches by Morgan Hill Mayor Mark Turner, Bay Area Panthers Co-Owner Roy Choi, and Bay Area Panthers Head Coach and General Manager Darren Arbet. The Chamber of Commerce conducted an official ribbon cutting ceremony and the Panthers acknowleged several local organizations making the partnership possible.
