Join Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority for 4.5-mile hike around the Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve Arrowhead Trail Loop as we watch the Blue Supermoon rise over the preserve! This hike will be led by one of our volunteer docents who will guide you through the preserve and tell you about the wonders of the blue supermoon! Blue moons are rare, but blue SUPERmoons are especially unique. This will be the second full moon in August making it a blue moon. This blue moon will also be closer to earth than usual, making it look extra big, bright, and beautiful. Please bring comfortable hiking shoes, a flashlight, and plenty of food and water.
