Capture the vibrant hues of springtime in the town with expressive line and juicy color. Through a series of exercises designed to build confidence and speed, we’ll create several sketches using various styles of mark-making with pen, pencil, and watercolor.
We’ll cover how to:
- Choose an appropriate subject without getting overwhelmed
- Use dynamic lines to capture the local landscape
- Add life to your sketch with watercolor
Class meets at Cura Contemporary. Weather permitting, we may go outside to draw. Bring a bag lunch (or grab a bite to go nearby). Dress for the weather; bring a hat, and wear comfortable shoes.
