Inspired in by nature and innovation, Morgan Hill, California is a cyclist hub! The area’s abundance of outdoor space lends to a variety of road and mountain biking trails and the presence of a global bicycle manufacturing company give major ‘street cred’ to this unassuming southern Silicon Valley town.

Specialized Bicycle Components, which is headquartered in the city, has been present since 1974 and has propelled decades of cycling technology innovation. Their parts, frames, and other gear have likely been tested within Specialized facility or out on the local trails. Fun fact: The headquarters has a private bike museum with old bike prototypes and other interesting history displays. Morgan Hill is also located just east of the Santa Cruz Mountains, which birthed Santa Cruz Bicycles, another popular bike maker. Downtown Morgan Hill is home to local cycling shop, Bike Therapy, conveniently tucked into the Granary, and the Amgen Tour of California has also made stops at Morgan Hill.
