Book Binding with Handmade Decorative Paper
In this unique one day workshop you will learn how to make your very own hand bound book with decorative papers designed and printed by you! In the first half of the class you will learn how to use Gelli Printing Plates to design and print your papers using a variety of found and textured objects and acrylic paint. Then, in the the second half of the class we will incorporate it into a hardcover book that would make a wonderful sketchbook or journal. We will use needle and thread to stitch together paper resulting in your very own hand bound book. All materials will be provided, just bring yourself for a fun and creative class!
