The Bat Fest event will be held in the meadow at Rancho Canada del Oro Open Space Preserve and will feature two live animal presentations: Northern California Bats and the Wildlife Education & Rehabilitation Center.
Join Saved By Nature for a family-friendly evening outdoors with Special Guest Speaker Jose Gonzalez, founder of Latino Outdoors, and music by DJ Shugga Shay! Live bats and owls, auction, raffle, tacos, horchata, arts & crafts, and festival games.
Paint and decorate your face in the beautiful culture of Día de los Muertos, bid on a knife forged in fire, win a guided fly-fishing trip for two or a 3-night stay in a cabin, eat tacos right from the grill, have some fun with games such as Balloon Pop and Backyard Pumpkin Bowl, or dress up and make memories in our photo booth.
Don’t forget to bring a blanket and/or lawn chair to sit under the stars with popcorn and your favorite drink to relax and watch a movie. This fest is Saved By Nature’s largest annual fundraiser; funds raised will be used to provide free programming for the community throughout the year.
